He is particularly fascinated by the influence of visual and multimodal communication in the development of novel organizational ideas, forms, and practices. His current research addresses topics such as societal grand challenges, organizational and system resilience, institutional trust, and collaborative action across differences. Methodologically, his focus lies in innovative qualitative and mixed methods approaches to textual and discourse analysis, including visual and multimodal analysis as well as semantic network analysis.
